Introduction to electric seats

Author:

The main function of car seats is to provide drivers and passengers with driving and riding positions that are easy to hype, comfortable, safe, and not prone to fatigue. Car seats shall meet the following requirements:

1. The arrangement in the carriage should be appropriate, especially the driver's seat, which must be in the optimal driving position.

2. Electrically adjust the position of the co driver. Friends, colleagues, wives, and Xiaomi can adjust to the best sitting posture with one click, which is extremely considerate.
The working principle of electric seats is to use electric motors as the driving force, and adjust various positions of the seats through transmission devices and actuators to make the driver or passengers ride in a comfortable seat.
Currently, the types of electric seats include:
1. Electric seat with electronic control adjustment system
2. Seat without electronically controlled adjustment system
Composition of electric seats:
1. Control switch
2. Bidirectional motor
3. Transmission mechanism

The function of the electric motor is to provide power for the adjustment mechanism of the electric seat. This type of motor mostly uses bidirectional motors. That is, the rotation direction of the armature changes with the direction of the current, causing the motor to rotate forward or reverse in different current directions to achieve the purpose of seat adjustment.
The number of electric motors depends on the type of power seat, and generally six way adjustable power seats are equipped with three electric motors. To prevent overloading of the motor, a fuse is installed inside the motor to ensure the safety of electrical equipment.
The function of the transmission device is to transmit the power of the electric motor to the seat adjustment device to complete the adjustment of the seat. It mainly consists of couplings, flexible shafts, reducers, screw jacks, or gear transmission mechanisms.
The control device receives commands input from the driver or passengers and controls the actuator to complete the adjustment of the electric seat. The power seat combination switch includes a forward tilt switch, a rearward tilt switch, and a four way switch (that is, up and down, front and rear).
Some cars have electric seat combination control switches installed on the door, while others are installed beside the seat, making it convenient for the driver or passengers to operate.
It mainly consists of a power supply, a combined control switch, and three motors. The combined control switch has four sets of switch contacts inside. The driver or passenger can adjust the position of the seat through the buttons on the control switch.
